Meaning of the Lyrics

Opening. “O son of Anjani, rain down your compassion — come make your home in the empty courtyard of my mind.” The image is domestic and intimate: not a temple or a battlefield, but an empty inner room waiting to be inhabited.

Middle verse. Three conditions, three responses. When the mind darkens, the light of Lord Ram’s name is what burns through it. When the feet grow tired, Lord Hanuman becomes the guardian of the path itself. When fear takes root, Lord Bajrang Bali is the one who grants courage and fearlessness — not by removing the difficulty, but by standing inside it with the devotee.

Refrain. “Victory to Bajrang, victory to Bajrang — you are my courage, you are my companion. Hear the cry of this humble heart; keep me today in your shelter.” The refrain turns praise into plea — the devotee asking not for a favor but for permanent refuge.
